What's new in Suno Manager

Version 3 is close to a rewrite. Suno changed how downloads work and most of what this extension did stopped working, some of it quietly. Here is what happened.

3.5.7

Version 3: rebuilt around the download cap

Added

  • Your remaining downloads and credits, shown while you browse
  • A local archive of every lyric, style and prompt, exportable as JSON, CSV or a readable document
  • Search inside your own lyrics, with the matching line shown in the result
  • Duplicate detection that groups near-identical takes and marks the most played one
  • A badge on songs already saved to your disk, so a download is never spent twice
  • Downloads renamed and filed under your own naming, with lyrics and metadata alongside
  • A style builder on the Create page, built from the styles you use most
  • An offer to master a track the moment its file lands

Removed

  • Bulk downloading, which Suno made impossible for every tool
  • The direct MP3 button, which had been reporting success while saving nothing
  • The Firefox build, which is discontinued

Fixed

  • MP3 and WAV now open Suno’s own download window with only your chosen format selected, instead of leaving two formats armed
  • Metadata reading, which had silently stopped when Suno renamed its API host
  • Song menus, which stopped being found when Suno relabelled the button
  • Filenames of downloads from other sites, which the extension could previously overwrite

Why the MP3 button had to go

This is worth spelling out, because it affected people without them knowing. Suno serves audio through signed URLs now, and the address the old button used stopped returning anything. The button did not fail loudly. Chrome hands back a download id the moment a download is queued, long before it succeeds or fails, and the extension treated that id as proof. So the button turned green, the toast said saved, and no file arrived.

Version 3 waits for the download to actually reach a finished state before it claims anything. If you used an older version recently, it is worth checking whether the files you expected are really on your disk.

Older versions

Version 2.8 and earlier were built around bulk downloading your library. That approach stopped being possible on 3 September 2026 and those versions no longer do what they describe. If you are still on one, updating is the only way to get anything useful.

Out of downloads. Not out of library.

Suno Manager keeps the lyrics, styles, models and dates for everything you made, and shows you where the count stands before you spend the next one.
